Workshop Overview

This program is designed to support care providers and therapeutic professionals (psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, professional counselors, etc.) in working effectively with the military community.

All of the information is designed to empower the clinician in working with the military community and in bringing their expertise and therapeutic tools forward in support of a healing process. The ONE Freedom framework is not a therapeutic modality and does not take the place of therapy; it supports the therapeutic process and the practitioner.

  • The neurophysiology of stress and trauma, military culture and the nature of war zone deployment (both for service members and for their families)
  • Ways to understand and connect with the military community
  • The introduction of skills that practitioners, service members, veterans, and their families can use to mitigate the effects of intense or challenging life experience
