ONE Freedom's Care Provider Trainings teach military and community care providers (psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, professional counselors, etc.) about the neurophysiology of stress and trauma, how to connect with combat veterans and their families, and specific skill-sets that practitioners, veterans, and families can use to mitigate the effects of intense or stressful life experience.

Our Trainings Provide:

This is very compelling, stellar work. Therapists need this kind of education." - Professor of Psychology, University of Denver

  • An understanding of trauma and stress from a neurophysiological perspective
  • Perspectives on effective treatments for stress and trauma
  • An understanding of the veterans' experience of service, deployment, and combat
  • An understanding of the military family's experience of deployment
  • Core skills that the Care Provider can use with themselves (self-care) and with their clients. The fundamental skills of the training are completely applicable to the full spectrum of therapeutic modalities and approaches.

Programs for professionals charge a nominal fee. CEUs will be available in the near future for these courses.
