ONE Freedom's training programs focus on the naturalization of the stress-response and how to apply self-regulating skills as opposed to treating it as a "mental-behavioral health" issue.
The fact of the matter is that deployment stress - and the brain and body's reaction to it - is common to everyone.
The skills you will learn with the ONE Freedom team are focused on rebalancing the central nervous system, regulating emotions and thought, and discharging stress from the body. These skills can be practiced and used on their own or in conjunction with other forms of therapy or medical treatment.
Participants walk away having sharpened their skills in breath work, thought awareness and mental simulation, emotional management, and rest and recovery. Each skill is supported by scientific-validation emerging from years of university and hospital research. Participants gain an important understanding of their own central nervous system, their brain, and how we each are affected by day-to-day stressors. Most importantly, participants learn self-regulating skills that positively affect well-being and reintegration.
Look for future programs that will expand on our current offerings. These include a range of experiential training and tailored support programs for families. For FRGs, reserve and guard drill weekends, county and state veteran service organizations, and more, we will tailor delivery specifically to your needs.
