Strength in Service and Strength after Service™ programs are designed to support balance and strength in the lives of military service members, veterans and their families. These programs teach a range of skills for working with stress and building resilience, including simple, easy-to-use exercises that can be woven into everyday life. Service members, veterans, spouses, parents and youth can all benefit from this curriculum. We also deliver workshops for specific audiences, such as Youth Encounters for ages 6 – 17 and Custom Programs.
ONE Freedom's trainings bridge the service member's and families experiences of deployment; strengthening supportive connection and understanding. The experience of serving in a combat zone is unique; however it's not just the service member who is changed by it. Children and spouses, parents and siblings are all deeply affected by deployments and need constructive ways for understanding these changes and effective tools for working with them.
Excellent workshop! I appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication to this education and believe it’s beneficial for both soldiers and family members. Thank you very much." - Kristan VanWinkle
The skills you will learn with the ONE Freedom team are focused on rebalancing the central nervous system, regulating emotions and thoughts, and discharging stress from the body. Each skill is supported by scientific validation emerging from years of clinical study and research. Participants gain an important understanding of their own central nervous systems, their brains and bodies, and how we each are affected by day-to-day stressors. Most importantly, participants learn self-regulating skills that positively affect well-being and the capacity to more fully engage in their lives.
Workshops and retreats are offered free of charge to OIF and OEF veterans and their families.
